Indonesia: Submission To The UN Universal Periodic Review 2nd Cycle”

KontraS (The Commission for the Disappeared Victims of Violence) has submitted the report of Universal Periodic Review for 2 cycle in collaboration with ALRC (Asean Legal Resource Centre), ICTJ (International Centre Transitional Justice in Jakarta), Protection International and Human Rights Working Group. KontraS as human rights organization focusing on the civil and political rights, we set up some issues consisting of human rights defender including the case of Munir, torture, the implementation of Sharia law and discrimination against women, freedom of religion, violence in the land conflict, policing, military, intelligence law, transitional justice and ratification on several human rights treaties.
